NT Emergency Service, Alice Springs Volunteer Unit - Ordinary People doing Extraordinary Things!

NTES Alice Springs Volunteer Unit are a bunch of like minded people from all across Alice Springs of all age groups and backgrounds. They give up their time with family and friends to keep the community safe in times of need. Even when the weather is calm, these dedicated volunteers help with community events, such as the Masters Games, and assist other agency in search and rescue operations. They can be helping St John Ambulance Paramedics carry someone down off Mt Gillen or help the Police in locating missing bush walkers and many others situations as well. when storms hit the town, they'll be out there in it helping remove fallen trees, and diverting flood waters. And they get to do it all wearing Bright Orange!!! They are all just Ordinary People doing Extraordinary Things!

Training is held at 7pm every Tuesday night at 32 Wilkinson St Alice Spring.
